Again, check to be sure throttle cab le is
pro-
perly tens ioned by compress ing the

lever and if the needle goes from OPEN to
CLOS ED, throttle-cab le slack must be remov-
ed. If the

er reads OPEN, rep lace the throt-
tle control. If the meter reads CLOSED, the
problem is in the main wiring harness;
therefore,
replace the ma in w iring harness.

NOTE: On the Cheetah models, disconnect
the four prong plug and use the color codes
listed in
the
chart to test the switches. Removal of
the handlebar pad is not necessary.
1.
Cut cab le ties and roll pad fo rward exposing
wires.
2.
Disconnect the w ire plug from the brake and
headl ight d immer sw itches
.
3.
Beginning from the front
