9. DRUM SECTION
9.1 MAIN DRIVE BELT TENSION ADJUSTMENT

Purpose: To ensure that correct main motor rotation is transmitted to the drum.
1. Remove the rear cover of the machine.
2. Apply a 1000-gram load using a tension gauge to the center of the main
drive belt [A]. Ensure that the belt deflects 1.5 mm.
3. If incorrect, remove the drum unit and adjust the belt tension by moving
the tensioner shaft [B] after loosening the nut [C].
4. After adjustment, tighten the nut completely.
