9 Performing a Scan to PC (SMTP)
Operation
G If there is a DHCP server on the network, this function may not perform
correctly since IP addresses are automatically distributed to each
computer.
In this case, set a fixed IP address with the DHCP server or use IP
Scanner (refer to page 10-1).
First, install IP Scanner onto the computer, and then start it up. →

G The transmitted image is received with Image Receiver, then saved by
IP Scanner as an image file.
G When using IP Scanner, check that Image Receiver is running. Refer
to "IP Scanner" on page 10-1.

Basic Transmission

Position the document(s) to be scanned.
