Receiving Documents (POP3 Reception)

Receiving Internet faxes

The network settings must be specified. → Refer to page 3-3.

If the "Auto-RX Check" parameter is set to "Check OFF", an Internet
fax cannot be received. The factory settings is "Check OFF".
Therefore, in order to automatically receive Internet faxes, specify a
time interval for the "Auto-RX Check" parameter.

The received documents can be printed or saved in a box. Refer to
"Specifying the procedure for received documents ("Doc. Manage."
function)" on page 13-33.

If the "Auto-RX Check" parameter is set to "Check OFF" or if you wish
to immediately receive the fax, the fax can be received manually.

The setting for specifying the answering method for fax settings in the
Administrator Management screen is available only when sending
faxes on a common telephone line. It is not available when receiving
Internet faxes.

Manually receiving faxes

Press the [Utility] key.

Touch [User Management].

Touch [POP3 RX].
If there are e-mail messages
at the POP3 server, the e-
mail messages are received.
While e-mail messages are
being received,
