Transmission Results Error Codes
The following error codes appear in transmission activity report, reception
activity report and the Job List screen.

If a malfunction occurs during the operation of a network application
function, an error code appears in the Job List screen or report. Refer
to "Checking Transmission Results" on page 8-40. In addition, refer to
"Reports and lists" on page 14-1.

Scanner Mode
Cause
The LAN cable is not connected
correctly or the transmission to
the FTP server failed. Otherwise,
an attempt was made to send the
data to the wrong recipient.
Login could not be completed
because the user name or the
password is incorrect.
The specified folder is incorrect.
The FTP server disk is full.
AN error occurred while
forwarding data to the FTP
server.
An error other than those listed
above occurred with the FTP
server.
The memory has become full.
Remedy
Check that the LAN cable is
correctly connected, and check
that the FTP server address and
port number and the proxy server
address and port number
settings are correctly specified.
Check the user name and
password settings.
Check the folder name setting.
Ensure that there is enough disk
space.
Check that the LAN cable is
correctly connected, and that
transmission to the FTP server is
possible.
Check that the FTP server can
transmit.
Change the resolution to "Fine"
or "Standard".
