5.15 Detected Device

Use this screen to view information about wireless devices detected by the AP. Click Monitor >
Wireless > Detected Device to access this screen.
Note: At least one radio of the APs connected to the NXC must be set to monitor mode (in
the Configuration > Wireless > AP Management screen) in order to detect
other wireless devices in its vicinity.

Chapter 5 Monitor
DESCRIPTION
This is the station's index number in this list.
This is the station's MAC address.
This indicates the AP through which the station is connected to the network.
This indicates the name of the wireless network to which the station is connected. A single
AP can have multiple SSIDs or networks.
This indicates which secure encryption methods is being used by the station to connect to
the network.
This indicates the strength of the signal. The signal strength mainly depends on the
antenna output power and the distance between the station and the AP.
This indicates the number the channel used by the station to connect to the network.
This indicates the frequency band which is currently being used by the station.
This is the station's IP address. An 169.x.x.x IP address is a private IP address that means
the station didn't get the IP address from a DHCP server.
This indicates the current data transmission rate of the station.
This indicates the current data receiving rate of the station.
This field displays the number of packets transmitted from the station.
This field displays the number of packets received by the station.
This displays the time a wireless station first associated with the AP.
