In this manual, the operation of the Function menu is described as

After finishing the operation
The Lower Sub-menu Item Selection display is shown. When you press h, the
Stand-by display returns (except during Multitask). The Stand-by display or the
former display automatically returns depending on the function.
To cancel the operation midway
Press h. The contents of the setting are abandoned and the Stand-by display or
the former display returns. The confirmation display appears asking whether to
abandon the setting contents depending on the function. You can press r to
return to the previous operation.
