The Multiaccess function allows you to perform packet transmission even during a voice call. You can easily back up your important data by using Ir exchange between FOMA phones or between a FOMA phone and a personal computer, or data transfer through FOMA USB cable between a FOMA phone and a personal computer.

    UIM (FOMA Card) The UIM is an IC card that can store your information such as phone numbers. It can also store data such as the Phonebook entries and Short Messages (SMS). By replacing the UIM, you can operate multiple FOMA phones for multiple purpose. You cannot use the FOMA phone for voice and video-phone calls, i-mode, mail or packet transmission unless the UIM is inserted.
