Remove Ihe following:

boll [1]
- reservoir
[2]
- oil seals (31
- boot [1] (from Ihe master cylinder body)
- push rod [2] (from the boot)
- snap ring
11]
- secondary piston assembly [21
- primary piston assembly [3]
Clean the reservoir, master cylinder and pistons in
clean brake fluid.
INSPECTION
Check the piston cups [4) and boot for wear,
deterioration or damage.
Check the piston springs [51 for damage.
Check the master cylinder and piston for scoring,
scratches or damage.
