This window allows the following parameters to be configured.
Parameter Description
Target IP Enter the Target IP Address to be pinged.

Repeat Pinging The user may use the Infinite times radio button, in the Repeat Pinging for field, which will tell the
for ping program to keep sending ICMP Echo packets to the specified IP address until the program
is stopped. The user may opt to choose a specific number of times to ping the Target IP Address
by clicking its radio button and entering a number between 1 and 255.
Select a timeout period between 1 and 99 seconds for this Ping message to reach its destination.
Timeout(1-99)
Click Start to initiate the Ping program.

IPv6 Ping Test

The following window is used to Ping an IPv6 address.
To view this window, click Administration > Ping Test > IPv6 Ping Test, as shown below:
