6.4.5 BOTTOM PLATE LIFT

[A]: Bottom plate lift motor
[B]: Lift lever
[C]: Bottom plate HP sensor
When an original is placed on the original tray:
Original set sensor
Bottom plate position sensor ([E] on the previous page)
Motor [A] lifts lever [B] and raises the bottom plate.
When the bottom plate reaches the correct feed height for feeding:
Bottom plate position sensor ([E] on the previous page)
