Statement introduced before Junos OS Release 7.4.
Statement introduced in Junos OS Release 9.0 for EX Series switches.
Configure the order in which the software tries different user authentication methods
when attempting to authenticate a user. For each login attempt, the software tries the
authentication methods in order, starting with the first one, until the password matches.
If you do not include the authentication-order
configured passwords.
authentication-methods —One or more authentication methods, listed in the order in which
they should be tried. The method can be one or more of the following:
—Use the password configured for the user with the

radius —Use RADIUS authentication services.
