• Touch the static-protective package that contains the component to any unpainted metal surface on the
server; then, remove it from the package and place it on a static-protective surface.
Procedure
Step 1. Install the bezel detect switch.
a. Align the opening of the bracket with the guide pin on the chassis; then, slide the bezel
detect switch toward the guide pin.
b. Pivot the switch as shown until it is seated in place.
c. Fasten one screw to secure the switch.
