Procedure
Step 1. Make preparation for this task.
a. Make sure the following components are installed properly:
• Air flow sensor board (see
• Bezel detect switch with cable (see
• Security bezel keylock bracket (see
b. Connect the power cable and other necessary external cables to the node.
c. Power on the server and any peripheral devices. See
Note: When the security bezel is installed, the buttons and connectors on the front of the server
are not accessible.
Step 2. If the security bezel slot fillers are installed, remove the fillers. See
identify the fillers.
Step 3. Align the bottom guide pins of the security bezel with the slots on the chassis, and insert the bezel
hooks in the slots on both sides.
Note: Make sure that the external cables go through both sides of the security bezel.
