Complete the following procedure to route the cables properly.
Procedure
Step 1. Connect the cables to the connectors on the system board.
• M.2 power cable to
• M.2 signal cable to
Step 2. Route the M.2 signal cable through the retainers in the following order.
a. Cable clip
b. Cable clip
c. Corner of the RAID flash power module holder (as shown in the top callout in the above
illustration)
d. Under the M.2 air baffle (as shown in the right callout in the above illustration)
Step 3. Route the M.2 power cable through the retainers in the following order.
a. Cable clip
b. Cable clip
c. Corner of the RAID flash power module holder (as shown in the top callout in the above
illustration)
d. Under the M.2 air baffle (as shown in the right callout in the above illustration)
Step 4. Proceed to connect the cables to the M.2 backplane assembly and install the assembly. See
"Install the M.2 backplane assembly" on page
