CAUTION:
The power-control button on the device and the power switch on the power supply do not turn off the
electrical current supplied to the device. The device also might have more than one power cord. To
remove all electrical current from the device, ensure that all power cords are disconnected from the
power source.
Attention:

• If applicable, remove the security bezel. See
• Power off the server and peripheral devices and disconnect the power cords and all external cables. See

Procedure
Step 1.
Make preparation for this task.
a.
Remove the top cover. See
b.
If applicable, remove all the internal drives. See
c.
If applicable, remove the internal drive backplane. See

107.
d.
If applicable, remove internal drive cage. See
Step 2.
Remove the RAID flash power module from the holder.
a.
Pull back the retention clips; meanwhile, hold the RAID flash power module, and pivot the
cable side of the module to disengage it from the holder.
b.
Remove the RAID flash power module from the holder.
Note: Be careful not to grasp the cables of the RAID flash power module.

Step 3.
Disconnect the RAID flash power module from the extension cable.
