Disassemble the system board for recycle

Follow the instructions in this section to disassemble the system board before recycling.
About this task
Before disassembling the system board:
1. Remove the system board from the server. See
2. Remove the cable wall with heat sink detect switch. See
switch" on page 80.
3. Refer to local environmental, waste or disposal regulations to ensure compliance.
Procedure
Step 1. Loosen the three screws that secure the front cable wall with PH2 screwdriver, and remove the
cable wall from the system board.

Step 2. Remove the following components as illustrated, and separate the system board from the
supporting sheet metal.
• Seven screws (PH 2 screwdriver)
• One guide pin (7 mm hex head screwdriver, inner depth≥25mm)
• One plunger (16mm hex head screwdriver, inner depth≥10mm)
