Step 1. Make preparation for this task.
a. Remove the top cover. See
b. Remove PCIe riser 1 or PCIe riser 2. See
Step 2. Remove the side support bracket.
a. Loosen the screw that secures the bracket.
b. Slightly push the bracket outward to disengage it; then, lift it from the riser assembly.

Step 3. If necessary, remove the low-profile fillers.
a. Press the tab of the filler to disengage it from the side support bracket. Use a pointed tool if
necessary.
Note: If necessary, use firm and solid pointed tool. Do not use pencils or other fragile tools.
b. Remove the filler from the side support bracket.
