CAUTION:
The power-control button on the device and the power switch on the power supply do not turn off the
electrical current supplied to the device. The device also might have more than one power cord. To
remove all electrical current from the device, ensure that all power cords are disconnected from the
power source.

Make preparation for this task.

Remove the top cover. See
b.
If applicable, remove all the internal drives. See
c.
If applicable, remove the internal drive backplane. See

d.
If applicable, remove internal drive cage. See
e.
If applicable, disconnect the RAID flash power module from the extension cable.

Step 2.
Loosen the two screws that secure the RAID flash power module holder; then, lift the holder to
remove it from the chassis.
