Maintenance of a Pump Head with Seal Wash Option
11 Place a seal wash gasket in the recess of the support
ring. Use a matching orientation of gasket and support
ring. Put the seal holder on top of the gasket.
13 G5654A only: Place a seal wash gasket in the recess of
the support ring. Use a matching orientation of gasket
and support ring. Put the seal holder on top of the
gasket.

G5654A only: Seal life time
Wrongly inserting the backup ring will strongly reduce the
life time of the seals and the pump head parts.

Note the correct installation of the backup ring inside
the support ring.
12 G5654A only: If the backup seal has been removed from
the seal holder, insert it in the correct orientation. Please
ensure that the cut end faces the seal holder.

14 Place the support rings on the piston housing. Note the
correct position of the pins on the support ring.
