Possible cause
Multi-step speed settings "0: CF1"
to "3: CF4" are set to the multi-
function input terminal, and these
are ON.
The load is too heavy.
The motor brake is applied.
The 1st Frequency Reference Se-
lection (F01) is set to other than
digital operator.
The multifunction input terminal is
set to "162: F-TM (Forced terminal
block)" and that terminal is ON.
The Operator Display Selection
(E52) is set to "1: Parameter data
check mode."
The inverter is in operation.
Soft lock is enabled.
The phase sequence of wiring to
the motor is incorrect. (The motor
is not designed to rotate forward
in the phase sequence: U/T1,
V/T2, W/T3.)
The 3-wire input function is ena-
bled, but the forward/reverse logic
is incorrect.
The operation direction based on
the FW and RV terminals is incor-
rect.
Remedy
Disable the multi-step speed setting. (When
this setting is enabled, multi-step speed opera-
tion is performed, so the motor runs according
to the frequency set in the Multi-step Frequen-
cy Reference 1 to 15 (C05 to C19).)
Reduce the load.
Release the brake.
Set the 1st Frequency Reference Selection
(F01) to "0: (Digital Operator)."
Turn OFF the terminal to which the function is
allocated.
Set Operator Display Selection (E52) to "2:
Full menu mode."
Stop the inverter. Then, set the parameters
again after the motor stops with deceleration.
Disable the Operator Protection Function Se-
lection (F00).
Reverse the order of two wires connected to
U/T1, V/T2, W/T3, or change the phase se-
quence to match that of the motor.
Check the logic of the "97: F/R (3-wire forward/
reverse)" allocated to a multifunction input ter-
minal.
Input the FW and RV terminals correctly.
