9 Troubleshooting
 Check point and remedy reference
Recalculate the deceleration torque from the
moment of inertia of the load and the decel-
eration time.
→ Lengthen the deceleration time (F08,
E11, E13, E15, H56).
→ Enable Anti-regenerative Control Func-
tion Selection (H69) or Over-Excitation
Control Selection during Deceleration
Function Selection (H71).
→ Enable torque limit (F40, F41, E16,
E17).
→ Set 1st Rated Voltage at Base Fre-
quency (F05*) to 0, and increase brak-
ing performance.
→ Consider use of braking resistor.
Check if an overvoltage alarm occurs at the
end of sudden acceleration.
→ Lengthen the acceleration time (F07,
E10, E12, E14).
→ Use Acceleration/Deceleration Pattern
Selection (H07).
→ Consider use of braking resistor.
Compare load braking torque and inverter
braking torque.
→ Set 1st Rated Voltage at Base Fre-
quency (F05*) to 0, and increase brak-
ing performance.
→ Consider use of braking resistor.
If this operates correctly when run with wiring
removed from the inverter output terminal (U,
V, W).
→ Check that the output wiring or the mo-
tor do not have a ground fault.
If an overvoltage is displayed when run with
wiring removed from the inverter output ter-
minal (U, V, W).
→ This indicates an inverter fault possibili-
ty. Please contact OMRON.
Check that the Main Circuit DC Voltage at
the time of overvoltage is at or below the
overvoltage level.
→ Implement measures against noise.
→ Enable Retry Count at Trip (H04).
→ Connect a surge absorber to coils, sol-
enoids, etc. in magnetic contactors that
are the cause of noise.
Repair of the inverter is required.
→ Please contact OMRON.
