Troubleshooting
The Import dialog box opens. It includes fields to select the System ID (in a
multi-site configuration), the files to import and their corresponding Meridian
Mail file type, the directory in which the files reside, and the release of
Meridian Mail running at the site. The binary files for a single-site
configuration are stored in the directory \REPORTER\MMSITE\SITE1. For
a multi-site configuration, a separate folder is created for each site (for
example, SITE1, SITE2, SITE3, and so on) in the order that the Meridian
Mail Systems table (in the Meridian Mail Reporter - Setup window) lists the
sites.
3. Select the files to import.
Note: Import deals with one file at a time, and you must ensure that a
complete set of binary files import at the same time in order to protect the
database's integrity.
4. Click OK.

To fix a corrupted database

Also because of a temporary disk access problem, the MMR database can become
corrupted. MMR provides three methods, each more increasingly severe, for
dealing with the corruption.
1. Open MMR Reports.
Important: No other program can attempt to access the database while you
perform this procedure. Therefore, terminate any program that may attempt
to copy the database file.
2. On the Maintenance menu, click Repair Database.
A message appears and indicates if the repair was successful or not.
If the Repair Database operation does not fix the corrupted database, you should
use the following procedure.
1. Open MMR Reports.
2. On the Maintenance menu, click Clear Database.
