Meridian Mail Reporter 2.0 User's Guide
If the voice usage of VS1 exceeds 85% of capacity, do the following:
• Check if there are a large number of voice service or fax on demand applications,
or both, implemented on the system. If there are, contact your distributor to have
them moved from the VS1 volume to a user volume using the Move Voice
Services Cabinet utility.
• If there are few multimedia applications or if the Voice Services Cabinet has
already been moved, check the SEER Query Report to see if the nightly audit is
completing successfully.
If capacity utilization continues running at 85% or higher, you may need to expand
the system's storage capacity.
Note: If the system generates a SEER 1103, print this report immediately. SEER
1103 indicates that a volume on your system has reached physical or virtual
capacity. Make sure that the nightly audit feature is functioning. Contact your
distributor to help you remove files from the volume that is affected. If the
operation involves VS1, remove text or voice directory entries. The effect of
corrective actions may not be seen until after the nightly audit is run. Again,
consider the redistribution of users on multi-node systems, or turning on automatic
message deletion. A storage upgrade may be necessary if these actions do not
improve the system substantially.
