date of the offending data, the reporting interval (which defaults to a single day)
will automatically be increased until the alert is finally cleared.

Customization

The Customize menu in the Meridian Mail Reporter - Reports window gives you
the ability to customize the Alert Palette, Report Palette, and Download Schedule.
The following sections describe some procedures on how to customize the palettes
and the download schedule, and gives tips on how you should use customization
features.
Procedure 4-15
To open the Alert or Report Palette Customization window
• In the Meridian Mail Reporter - Reports window, on the Customize menu,
click Alert Palette or Report Palette.
The Alert or Report Palette Customization window contains a menu bar, a palette,
and a list of all available report templates.
Custom Name
Each alert and report in a palette must have a unique combination of System ID and
Custom Name. Whenever a report is added to the palette, the Custom Name shows
the original name of the report template. In order to maintain two or more copies of
the same alert or report in a palette, each alert or report must have a different
Custom Name. The Custom Name field is a 50-character alphanumeric field. For
example, if the Sales department is using voice menu 1000 and the Customer
Service department is using voice menu 1001, you may wish to have two
Multimedia Application Caller Analysis reports in the Report Palette. The first
report would have its filter set as Service ID IS EQUAL TO 1000, and its custom
name could be set to MAC Analysis - Sales. The second report would have its filter
set as Service ID IS EQUAL TO 1001, and its custom name could be set to MAC
Analysis - Service.
