Using MMR and its Online Help
4. Click the End Time box, and then type the time by using single digits and
a decimal point (for example, 0.0 instead of 00:00).
5. Click the Interval box, and then type the number of days for the reporting
interval.
6. Click OK.
Before issuing a query to the database, MMRR subtracts one second from the end
date and time in order to facilitate user interaction. For example, on January 2nd,
the default end date and time would be 02/01/95 and 00:00 respectively. A report
with an interval of 1 day would retrieve data from January 1st at 00:00:00 to
January 1st at 23:59:59.
Specific Reports and the Reporting Interval
The Inactive User Report uses the Reporting Interval dialog box somewhat
differently than other reports. This report identifies individuals who have not
logged on since the End Date. For example, if today is January 15th and the End
Date is set to January 1st, the report will display the list of users who have not
logged in to their mailbox since January 1st (that is, for at least the past two weeks).
Note that this report ignores the End Time and the Interval fields in the Reporting
Interval dialog box.
Five reports do not require a reporting interval: Class of Service, Mailbox Counts,
Top Users of Storage, User Directory, and Users Exceeding COS Storage Limit.
These reports appear as soon as you select the Print Preview command. Also, in
contrast to all the other reports, the Mailbox Counts report produces four distinct
reports when previewed or printed.

Print Preview

The Print Preview command issues a query to the database and opens the Print
Preview window which contains the report. The Print Preview window provides a
series of control buttons which are, from left to right: First Page, Previous Page,
Next Page, Last Page, Cancel, Zoom, Print, Export, Mail Export, and Close. In the
center of these buttons, the display shows the current page in the total page count.
To the right of the Close button, internal status indicators appear. During the report
retrieval process, these indicators reflect the result of queries to the database.
Some reports take several minutes to retrieve the data required for the report. The
time required to produce a report depends on the size of the database and the
complexity of the query.
