Meridian Mail Reporter 2.0 User's Guide
MMR Reports stores most filter items as numbers which can be used intuitively
with the filter tests. The following filter items are stored as strings:
Billing DN
Call Type
Called DN
Channel DN
Department
Mailbox
Name
Successful Delivery
Target DN
VSDN
All but one of the Test operators are comparative functions (that is, IS EQUAL TO,
IS GREATER THAN, IS GREATER THAN OR EQUAL TO, IS LESS THAN, IS
LESS THAN OR EQUAL TO, IS NOT EQUAL TO). The IS LIKE test allows for
pattern searching of character strings. Use the wild card symbols ? and * to stand
for variable characters. The ? stands for a single character; the * stands for any
number of characters. For example, on a Meridian Mail system with 4-digit
mailboxes, the filter Mailbox IS LIKE 20* will accept mailboxes 2000 through
2999. Note that the IS LIKE operator will not work with items that are stored as
numbers.
