Log File

In addition to the Critical Error window, MMR Communications also captures
time-stamped status messages throughout the download process. These messages
are stored in a log file.
Procedure 4-2
To view the log file
• In the Meridian Mail Reporter - Communications window, on the View
menu, click Log.
The log file appears in a separate window with its own menu bar. This menu bar
allows you to print the file, search for text strings, and reinitialize the file (which
causes MMR to archive the active log file as STATUS.BAK in the \Reporter
directory and start a new log file). The log file captures status messages in
chronological order.
