2. Select a currently unassigned data port (follow bulleted instructions
below) set to PRTnnnn, and change it to ADMIN for AdminPlus.
¥ To select a dataport for AdminPlus on an MMP40 card
For NT6P97AA Release 10 (EC platforms) of the MMP40 card, select Port
2. Choosing the second port prevents an interworking problem between
Port 1 and the AdminPlus link. For a later vintage of MMP40, select either
Port 1 or 2.
¥ To select a dataport for AdminPlus on a Mod Op EC system
For Mod Op EC systems on MM10.07, select only Port 2, 3, or 4 of a Utility
Card with Modem (NT6P03AA A0391972). For systems on MM10.10 or
later, select Port 1, 2, 3, or 4.
Note: You cannot conÞgure the AdminPlus link on the second Utility card of
a Mod Op EC system.
The selected dataport appears as ADMNnnnn in the hardware database.

To assign a data port for the AdminPlus Enable option under Meridian
Mail 11
