4.12 MISFEED CHECK

4.12.1 Overview
The CPU uses the registration sensor and the fusing exit sensor to check for paper
misfeeds. When there is a paper misfeed, the check paper path (
or blinks and the copier stops. Check the misfeed location display.
Location A: Feeding Section
Location B: Fusing Unit
Location D: Sorter
Location E: ADF
After removing the misfed paper, make sure that all units and levers are returned to
their original positions and the front cover is closed. After the misfeed condition is
cleared, the check paper path indicator goes out.
