7. Jitter
Problem
Jitter appears at 80 mm
intervals on the copy.
Irregular jitter appears
on the copy.
It is especially
noticeable in
enlargement mode.
8. Scratch at 251 mm intervals
Problem
Scratches at 251 mm
intervals appear on the
copy.
The cause is the scanner drive pulley (24 ∅)
1. Irregular revolution of the scanner drive motor.
2. The pulley has burrs or scratches on the surface.
It may be caused by an incorrect voltage being supplied from the power
supply unit.
If the interval is 251 mm, check the drum (Drum diameter: ∅80).
If positive copy image appears at 251 mm intervals, check for
contamination of the QL filter.
→ Clean this part.
