The ID sensor bias can be changed using DIP SW101-5 and -6 to adjust the overall
image density.
•
By SP mode (34), the bias voltage can be increased by +90 volts.
4.7.3 Replacement and Adjustment
NOTE: When removing or reinstalling the development unit, apply force towards
the right side to avoid scratching the drum.
1. Developer Replacement
1. Open the front cover, raise the
development unit release lever, and pull
out the development unit. Place the unit on
a clean sheet of paper.
2. Separate the toner tank from the
development unit (2 screws).
