3. Uneven Image Density
Problem
Uneven image density
appears on solid black
copies.
The copied pattern will
not change regardless
of reproduction ratio.
Uneven image appears
in non image areas.
The copied pattern
changes depending on
the reproduction ratio.
1. Uneven charge current.
(1) Contamination of the charge corona unit.
(2) Uneven mounting height of the charge corona wire.
1. Contamination of the mirrors and exposure glass.
Exp. Glass Reflector
1st. 2nd and 3rd Mirrors.
Note: If the image pattern does not change in any reproduction ratio,
another problem exists.
2. Deterioration of the exposure lamp or incorrectly aligned filament
results in uneven pattern image type (1).
