4. Hot Roller Stripper Replacement
1. Pull out the fusing unit and open the fusing
exit assembly.
2. Unhook the springs and remove the hot
roller strippers.
3. Install new strippers and connect the
springs.
5. Thermofuse Replacement
1. Remove the fusing unit and remove the
fusing unit cover (2 screws).
2. Remove the thermofuse bracket (1 screw).
3. Remove the thermofuse wire from the
metal wire clamp (1 screw).
4. Disconnect the thermofuse (1 connector)
and install the new thermofuse.
6. Thermistor Replacement
1. Remove the fusing unit and the fusing unit
cover (2 screws).
2. Unhook the thermistor spring.
3. Remove the thermistor wire from the metal
wire clamp (1 screw) and remove the
thermistor (1 connector).
4. Replace the contact thermistor and
reassemble the fusing unit.
