5. Vertical White Lines
Problem
Indistinct white line on
the rear side of the
copy.
Indistinct white
line
A scraped white line will
appear on the copy.
An indistinct white line
appears on the copy.

Sharp white stripe on
the copy.
Sharp White Line
Due to contamination of the charge corona wire, or corona unit casing
roughness.
Toner on the drum is scraped off by an unknown foreign substance.
1. Deformation of the PTL filter.
2. Deformation of the ID sensor board.
3. Deformation of the transfer separation guide plate.
1. The inlet seal on the development unit is contaminated with oil, or
condensation is present.
2. The erase lamp is dusty.
1. Scratches on the drum will cause sharp white lines to appear on the
copy.
