1. Check if the 2nd scanner is moving properly.
Moving properly
Check CN403-6 on the main board.
:When 2nd Scanner Motor is OFF → more than 4.5V
: Reduction and Enlargement → Full Size → 0V (for a time)
If the voltage is correct, replace the main board.
If it is not, replace the 2nd scanner home position sensor.
Not moving properly
Check the 2nd scanner drive section.
Replace the main board.
Replace the 2nd scanner motor.
1. Check the encoder output of the scanner motor.
If it is malfunctioning, replace the scanner motor.
2. Replace the main board.
3. Check the voltage of the power source (wall outlet).
1. Check the resistance of the drum thermistor at room temperature.
If the resistance is ∞Ω, the drum thermistor is open.
If the resistance is around 8 kΩ, replace the main board.
1. Check the sorter.
2. Remove all the paper from the bins.
1. Check that the fusing unit is installed properly.
2. Check the voltage at CN102-B13 on the main board.
24V → Replace the main board.
0V → Check the thermofuse or fusing thermistor.
1. Check the voltage at CN101-B16 on the main board.
5V → Replace the main board.
0V → Check the fusing thermistor.
→ If it is all right, replace the fusing control board.
→ If it is not, replace the thermistor.
