4.9.3 Replacement and Adjustment
1. T/S Corona Wire Replacement
1. Open the front cover.
2. Remove the screw securing T/S corona
unit.
3. Lower the T/S corona unit and slide it out.
4. Remove the corona paper guide by sliding
it to the rear.
5. Remove the front and rear end block
covers.
6. Take off the old corona wires and install
new corona wires.
2. Transport Belt Replacement
1. Open the front cover and remove the toner
collection bottle.
2. Remove the development unit and the
charge corona unit (1 screw).
3. Lower the T/S corona unit.
4. Remove the drum stay (1 knob and 1
screw), the cleaning unit, and the drum.
5. Remove the fusing unit.
6. Remove the rear cover and lower the main
board bracket (2 screws).
7. Disconnect all the connectors of the
T/S/PCC power pack and remove the
power pack (1 screw).
8. Remove the cam lever assembly (1 screw).
9. Disconnect the vacuum fan connector (2P
white) just under the main motor.
10. Remove the transport unit from the
mounting bracket (2 screws).
NOTE: When reinstalling the toner
collection holder cover, be sure
the pin of the cam lever engages
the hole in the vibration link.
11. Pull out the toner collection bottle holder.
12. Slide the transport unit and vacuum fan out
of the copier.
