Administrative Note:
Status
Select the Administrative Status of the port.
Options are:
Packet Packet replication emulates broadcast/multicast
Replication traffic in a multi-destination network by sending a
copy of a packet down the default VC (in each
ATM Link) to each destination. If there is only one
other destination in the ATM network, you do not
need Packet Replication.
Displays whether or not you selected packet
replication. Options are:

Default Port Enter the Default Port. Options are 1 or 2. If you
have configured failover, this governs the default
physical port that carries the traffic.
Note:
Default PVC
Enter the default PVC. The first number is the
physical port number, the second number is the
VPI number, and the third number is the VCI
number, separated by dashes.
Ex: If the Default PVC is on physical port 2,
Virtual Path 7, Virtual Circuit 182:
Enter 2-7-182
This parameter appears only in the
Modify Virtual Switch Port dialog box.
• Enabled - The ATM desired operational
status.
• Disabled - Forces the port down.
• Yes - Default - Select when you have
multiple links, each with a different remote
ATM destination
• No - Select if you have a single remote ATM
destination.
• A UBR PVC cannot be the default PVC for a
Replicating VSP.
• You cannot modify this parameter after the
VSP is created.
• This parameter appears only in the
Modify Virtual Switch Port dialog box for
non-packet replicating VSPs.
• Make sure you enter the PVC you have
created within this VSP.
