Avaya P550R/P580/P880/P882 Multiservice Switch ATM Uplink User Guide, Version 2.0.

"Configuring IP Routing" in the Avaya P550R/P580/
P880/P882 Switch User Guide for more information.
Set up a Static Route only if you are not using a
routing protocol. If you are using a routed protocol,
repeat steps 1-9 on the second Avaya switch.
a. Select Routing > IP > Configuration > Static Routes
from the Web Agent. The IP Static Routes dialog box
opens.
b. Select Create. The Add IP Static Route dialog box opens.
c. Enter the IP network address of the remote ATM Uplink
module.

e. Click CREATE to save your changes, or CANCEL to
restore previous settings.

Enter an IP network address for your IP static
route.
Enter an IP subnet mask for your IP static
route.
Enter an IP address for the gateway associated
with the IP static route.
Enter an interface that is associated with the IP
static route.
Enter the metric between this router and the
destination. The metric you enter overrides
routing protocol metrics.
Select a Low or High routing preference from
the Preference pull-down menu.
