The SUPERSET
DSS module
has 32 keys arranged
in two vertical
rows. An LCD
beside each key shows the current status of the line represented
by that key. The DSS
module
can be used as a stand alone device or, through
CDE programming,
up to two
DSS modules
can be associated
with each of the following

As a stand alone device, the SUPERSETDSS
module can only be used as a busy lamp
field, showing
device status only.
If the module
is associated
with any of the devices
listed above,
it can be used as a BLF
to indicate
line status, and a DSS, allowing
access to these devices
with a single key
press, The keys can also be used to access features
in the same manner
as line select
keys on a SUPERSfltelephone
and to provide
additional
speed
call keys.
The SUPERSET
DSS module
is a DNIC device and connects
to one DNIC port on a
DNI Line Card. Refer to Appendix
A.
