Connection Errors
Symptoms
The POWER indicator is not lit.
The Video Monitor is blank.
The Video Monitor image is not clear.
Cannot make key inputs on the Con-
sole.
Camera images are not displayed.
(when using a Camera with a light)
Camera images are not displayed.
(when using a standard CCTV lens
and light.)
The images on the monitor are recog-
nized but codes are hard to read.
Causes and remedies
• The power supply is not connected properly.
• The power supply voltage is below the allowed range
(20.4 to 26.4 VDC).
• The power to the Video Monitor is not ON.
• The monitor cable is not connected properly.
• The Video Monitor is malfunctioning.
• (When the LCD monitor is used)
The power supply is not sufficient for the LCD moni-
tor.
• There is electrical noise entering from the power sup-
ply or cables.
• The Monitor Cable is not connected properly.
• The Console Cable is not correctly connected.
• The camera cable is not properly connected.
• The Light Cable is not properly connected.
• The lens cap has not been removed.
• The Camera Cable is not properly connected.
• The lens diaphragm is opened or closed too far.
• The shutter speed is not suitable.
• The light method is not suitable.
• Refer to the entry for the error code in Error Codes
and Countermeasures. Change the setting condi-
tions and adjust the camera and lighting.
