Setting Reading Conditions
 Reference Pattern
The registered pattern is displayed on the monitor screen and can be checked. After performing
pattern registration, always compare the pattern with a reference and check if the finder pattern
has been registered correctly.
1.
Select the pattern number of the pattern that
you want to refer to on the Pattern list screen.
Up/Down/Left/Right Keys:
The selected pattern number is indicated with a
solid-line frame.

Press the ENT Key.
The Pattern settings selections will be displayed.
3.
Select Reference pattern.
The Reference pattern screen will be displayed.
Detailed information about the pattern will be dis-
played at the bottom of the screen.
For information on detailed information
about patterns, refer to page 106.
In order to improve the accuracy of detec-
tion of the finder pattern, a part of the timing
pattern is also registered for the pattern.
4.
Press the ESC Key to leave this screen.
