Disassembly
To
disassemble
the front forks,
start
with the
removal
of outer
tube.
B. Inspection
Inspect the inner tube
for bends
or scratches.
If the
bend
is
slight,
it can be
corrected
with
a
press. It
is
recommended, however, to replace
the
tube.
Check
the
slide
metal and
piston
for wear. If
excessively
worn,
replace them.
C. Assembly

When installing the outer
nut into the
inner
tube, cover
the
inner
tube top
end with
a
vinyl
sheet to
protect the oil seal lip against
damage.

pas courbe

redresser

remplacer

tube s'il
presente
le moindre
defaut.
Controler
l'usure de
la bague antifriction et
du piston.
Remplacer
en
cas
d'
usure
excessive.

Lorsqu'on introduit
le tube
interieur dans
l'ecrou
e.
x terieur, envelopper l'extremite du
tube
interieur
d'un feuille
de
plastique, pour
eviter
d'abimer
la
bague d'etancheite.

Wenn
das Rohr
nur
leicht verbogen
ist,
kann es auf einer
Presse
gericht
et werden.
Es
wird
jedoch
empfohlen,
das
Rohr auch
in
diesem Fall
auszuwechseln.
Gleitstiick
und
Ko lben auf VerschleiB
priifen;
falls iibermaBig
abgenutzt,
ersetzen.
C. Zusammenbau

Wenn die
auBere Mutter in
das innere Rohr
eingebaut wird,
muBderobere Teil des
inneren
Rohres
mit
einer
Vinylfolieabgedeckt
werden,
um
die
Dichtlippe
der
Oldichtung
vor
Beschadigung zu schiitzen.
