Maintenance

Level check

- Position the vehicle on a flat surface and on the
centre stand.
- Check the brake fluid level via the special indi-
cator located on the pump.
NOTE
THE LEVEL TENDS TO DROP AS THE BRAKE PADS GET WORN, A MINIMUM LEVEL SHOULD
NOT BE REACHED. IF THE LEVEL IS TOO LOW, CHECK AND FIX THE SYSTEM SEALS, IF RE-
QUIRED. TOP UP THE PUMP RESERVOIR, IF REQUIRED, CONSIDERING THAT THE "MAX."
LEVEL MUST ONLY BE OBTAINED WITH NEW PADS.

Top-up

CAUTION
ONLY USE DOT 4-CLASSIFIED BRAKE FLUID.
Proceed as follows:
- Position the vehicle on a flat surface and on the
centre stand.
- Remove the tank cap by removing the two
screws, remove the gasket and top up using only
the liquid specified without exceeding the maxi-
mum level.
CAUTION
AVOID CONTACT OF THE BRAKE FLUID WITH YOUR EYES, SKIN, AND CLOTHING. IN CASE
OF ACCIDENTAL CONTACT, WASH WITH WATER.
