Configuration using Web UI
In the menu bar of <WEC Main window>, select <Administrator> and then select the
<SNMP> <APC>  <Community> menu in the sub-menus. When you click the
<Add> button in the Community window, the community creation window is displayed.
When you enter a configuration value and click the <Apply> button, the configuration is
applied.

10.1.2 SNMP Trap

All the alarms of the APC system are basically transmitted to outside through the SNMP
trap. Therefore, to receive a system alarm from an external management server, the server
address must be registered as a trap target. The trap supports v1/v2.
Configuration using CLI
To add a SNMP trap target, execute the command as follows:
1) Go to the configure mode of the CLI.
WEC8500# configure terminal
WEC8500/configure#
2) Add a SNMP trap target.

snmp trap [TRAP_VERSION] [COMMUNITY_NAME] [IP_VERSION]
[IP_ADDRESS] [PORT_NUMBER]

3) To check the added trap target, use the 'show snmp trap' command.
