Group Type is Internal means that the session is an IBGP Session and the peer group is
BgpInternal which is the default group the neighbor is assigned to by default in an IBGP
session. Connection state in the above output shows it as ESTABLISHED, which indicates the
two Avaya's have successfully formed a IBGP Connection.
Avaya1> show ip bgp summary
The following 3rd party router outputs shows internal link , which means neighbor 30.30.30.1
is an IBGP neighbor and the BGP State shows it as ESTABLISHED.
