Registering the Default Password in this Machine

When encrypting a PDF file, you can set [Document Open Password] and [Permissions Password]. If you select [Apply Default Password]
to set the password, you can use the password that is set in advance.

Press (SETTING).

Enter a password.
The document open password is intended to open an encrypted PDF file. The document open password cannot be the same as a
permission password. You can enter up to 32 characters.

Select [Permissions Password], and then press

Enter a password.
The permission password is intended to control printing, extracting, editing, or other operations for encrypted PDF files. The
permission password cannot be the same as a document open password. You can enter up to 32 characters.

Select [Enter], and then press

Press until the top screen is displayed.
