Pull out the Duplex Module 3, and remove
the paper from the top of the Duplex Module
3.

Move the release handle [3a] to remove the
jammed paper.

Open the handle and then remove the
jammed paper.

Push in the Duplex Module 3 gently until it stops.

Close the front cover.

Paper Jams in Tray 5 (Bypass)

The following describes how to clear paper jams in Tray 5 (Bypass).

Open the top cover of Tray 5 (Bypass).
• If paper is torn, check for any torn pieces
of paper inside the machine.
• If paper is torn, check for any torn pieces
of paper inside the machine.
• If the front cover is not completely closed, a message will appear and the machine will not
operate.
