    The following describes how to switch the power on. When using D125 or D110, the machine takes approximately 5 minutes to warm up and to be ready to copy or print after switching the power on. This may take more time depending on your machine configuration.

    2 Product Overview Switch the power off at the end of the day or when not using the machine for an extended period of time. Use also the Energy Saver feature to save power consumption while the machine is not in use.

    Power Source Switching the Main Power Off The following describes how to switch the main power off. Important • Do not switch the main power off while the touch screen displays a screen or the <Energy Saver> button blinks. Switching off the main power may damage the hard disk and the memory or cause a machine malfunction.

    2 Product Overview Ground Fault Interrupter A ground fault interrupter is embedded in this product. If current leakage occurs, the ground fault interrupter automatically cuts off power circuit to prevent electric shock and a fire accident. The ground fault interrupter is normally ON.

    Energy Saver Mode Energy Saver Mode The machine is equipped with the Energy Saver mode that reduces the power consumption by saving the electricity to the machine when no copy or print data is received for a specified time. The Energy Saver feature has two modes: the Low Power mode and the Sleep mode. The machine enters the Low Power mode after the preset time has elapsed if the machine is left unused for a fixed period of time.

Paper that has absorbed moisture can result in paper jams and lower image quality. After opening a package of paper, wrap and store any remaining paper. Types of paper loaded in trays The machine automatically detects the size and orientation of loaded paper in a tray, but not a paper type. Normally, each tray is set to plain paper.
