Pull out Tray 1.
When pulling out the paper tray,
do it slowly. If pulled out with too
much force, the tray can hit and
injure your knees.

Pull out the Transport Unit 4.

Lift up the handle [4a], and then remove the
jammed paper.

Return the handle [4a] to the original position.

Push in Tray 2 gently until it stops.

Push in Tray 1 gently until it stops.

Close the front cover.

Paper Jams in Duplex Module 3
The following describes how to clear paper jams in the Duplex Module 3.

Make sure that the machine is not in
operation, and open the front cover.

CAUTION
• When the Transport Unit 4 is pulled out,
Tray 2 will be pulled out simultaneously.
• If paper is torn, check for any torn pieces
of paper inside the machine.
• When Tray 2 is pushed, the Transport Unit 4 will be pushed in simultaneously.
• If the front cover is not completely closed, a message will appear and the machine will not
operate.
